Contractor Portal Frequently Asked Questions

Getting Started:  Registering as a Contractor with Beacon Partners

When Beacon Partners has a resource need which our current resources cannot fulfill, we reference our online contractor portal to identify an appropriate firm or individual.

If your firm is called upon to provide contractor resources for Beacon Partners’ projects, your firm should do its best to present high quality resources at the most competitive rates. You (or your firm) should strive to be the best partner it can be to Beacon.

Q. What is the process for becoming a Beacon Partners’ contractor? 

A. We encourage you to register and submit your profile on Beacon’s contractor portal. Just click on the Become a Contractor link from www.beaconpartners.com and it will take you to the contractor portal. Your profile will be reviewed, and your primary contact will be contacted for follow-up and verification.  Once your profile has been approved, you or your firm will be made active, and you will have access to the portal to review open Statements of Work (SOWs), and your own current or completed SOWs.

Q. I submitted my company’s profile and I made a mistake. Is there any way for me to get back into the profile I created?

A. Once your profile is submitted, you will not have access to edit it until you are accepted for contracting.  If it is a serious error, please consider submitting another profile using the same login.  Your new profile will overwrite the existing profile.  Otherwise, please point out the error when you are contacted by Beacon Partners for follow-up and verification.

Q. I have registered and submitted my company’s profile. Why am I not receiving SOW notices?

A. Registration does not guarantee you or your firm will be contacted or sent SOWs for consideration.  In the event that our current staffing is not meeting our resource needs, we will reach out to the registered contractors with the appropriate skills.  If you are an active contractor you may search open SOWs on the contractor portal. Be sure to keep your profile and skills matrix up to date.

Q. I received an error entering my profile.  Now I cannot login.  What do I do?

A. If you received an error during the registration process, please use this link Restart Registration to restart the registration process.

Q. I am an active contractor.  How do I update my profile?

A. To update your profile go to http://contracting.beaconpartners.com.  Click on “Registered Contractors Login Here” and login with the username and password you created during the registration process.  As an active contractor you will be directed to your profile page.  On this page you will find the links to update your information.
